We recognise the need to provide excellent legal advice and assistance in all aspects of family law at a fair and reasonable price.
Your case will be handled by Kay Harding a specialist family solicitor who qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales in 1997, previously having qualified as a fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives.
Our objective is to provide a quality service at an affordable price.
We understand that at the time of separation or other family difficulties you will need access to legal advice at a time and place convenient to you which may not be during normal office hours.
We offer telephone consultations between 9am and 7pm weekdays, Saturday 10am to 11.30am or by agreement and Sundays by agreement.
We aim:
To provide a fast and efficient service.
- ensuring your matter is dealt with by a qualified solicitor
- giving a 30 minute free initial interview to assess your needs and give you an estimate of costs
- being available to you at weekends and evenings
- keeping you informed and involved as the matter progresses
- using plain english, not legal jargon
- advising you on the options available and consequences of various steps
- providing regular information about costs
- advising you when another expert needs to be instructed eg a barrister, a surveyor
- answering your email and telephone calls within 24 hours
- answering your correspondence within 3 working days (or advising you when a substantive response can be expected)
- To keep our fees to a minimum
Our Fees
Legal services are usually charged on an hourly rate so you only pay for the amount of time spent on your matter.
Our charges are very competitive, please contact us for an estimate of your particular case.
Although there may still be VAT to pay on disbursements such as expert report fees or barrister's fees on our fees there is currently no vat to pay.
We are also happy to agree a fixed or capped fee with you where this is appropriate or a series of fixed fees which are payable for each stage of a particular case, a popular new addition.
